XVI NORDIC CONTEMPORARY PRINT TRIENNIAL 2020

The main organizer of all the triennials has been Grafiska Sällskapet.

Grafiktriennal XVI opens up for participation from all the Nordic countries; Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland and the autonomous territories of the Faroe Islands, Greenland and Åland and welcome all printing techniques provided that the working process of printmaking is essential and clearly evident in the art works.

Grafiktriennal XVI strives to explore and present a vital section of contemporary Nordic printmaking. It wants to reflect upon the most profound movements in the image selection and point to the fact that contemporary printmaking as an art form is ongoing and pre-eminently vibrant.

The exhibition goes on a nationwide tour in Sweden during 2020. From the opening at Galleri Sander in Norrköping, it makes its way to Trelleborgs Museum in the south and further up to Luleå and Kulturens Hus in the north. Preparations are currently under process for the exhibition to be displayed in other Nordic countries after 2020.

The exhibitions are as follows:

Galleri Sander, Norrköping 25 January – 14 March 2020

Trelleborgs Museum 4 April – 23 May 2020
